Bernie Van De Walle serves as the District Superintendent of the Midwest District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada. He is also Chair of the Alliance World Fellowship’s International Commission for Theological Education.  Before taking this role at the Midwest District, he served as a Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Ambrose University in Calgary, Alberta. He is the author of The Heart of the Gospel (2009) and  Rethinking Holiness (2017).In this episode, Bernie and Chris discuss the founder of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, A.B. Simpson.
