On Thursday, April 25th Dr. Paulette Dillard will be officially inaugurated as the 18th President of Shaw University, even though she's been leading the school in that role for over a year.We spoke to Dr. Dillard about what led her to a career in science and academia, and what brought her to Raleigh specifically. We also discussed Shaw's future and how it is linked with the growth and change in downtown Raleigh.
