Attract Your Dream Clients with Marketing Coach, Selene Vakharia 

Selene Vakharia is a Business &amp; Marketing Coach and Founder of SMRT WOMEN, an award-winning community for entrepreneurs.For over 15 years, Selene has worked with organizations, businesses, and award-winning ad agencies across Canada. Selene absolutely loves working with entrepreneurs who are looking to turn their passion into a profitable business with purpose.So, SMRT WOMEN was started.Since it began, it has been behind two sold-out conferences, a sold-out female CEO speaker series, countless workshops and networking events, and amazing coaching clients across the country.“It's always that I find someone outside of me that needs to say, “Hey, have you noticed you've been talking about the same thing over and over again for like years now?” So that for me was a really big push to actually start my own business, and to commit to it because I kind of half tried before, never really committing to it, never having that patience. That was the big moment where I realized this is what I needed to do.” At minute 3:23, Selene shares with us how the input of those around her motivated her to start her own business. Allowing the input of those in your community can help give you direction when you want to advance your career!“I think especially in the online space, one of the big things I learned. You know, we think about it as being very different from in person, but it's not. People build relationships the same way, we connect in the same way, we follow all the same steps, and we look for the same things.” At 11:32, Selene emphasizes the importance of connecting with people the same way online as you would in real life. Authentically being yourself is key!“The best advice I’ve ever received is, “You need to be patient, things don't happen overnight, and you have to trust that they're going to happen if you're putting in the work, you're being strategic, and you're doing the things you can only control.” You have to trust that it's going to pay off and if you don't trust that, if you don't believe in yourself, then you're going to end up in weird situations where either you're saying yes to everything that comes your way because you're not believing the right things are going to come, or you're just going to start pushing things away.” At minute 25:08, Selene shares with us the best advice she’s ever received, encouraging all of us to be patient and keep working towards our goals, not letting distractions get in the way.Selene shared a lot of valuable information about building a community around your brand.
