Dr. Michael Sirilla joins us to discuss these issues and more. The Classical Theism Podcast aims to defend Catholic Christian ideas in conversation. With the help of various guests, I defend three pillars of the Catholic Christian worldview: (1) the God of classical theism exists, (2) Jesus is our Messiah and Lord, and (3) He founded the Catholic Church. Prof. Michael Sirilla is the former Director of Graduate Theology and currently Professor of Systematic Theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 2002. He earned his Ph.D. in systematic theology from The Catholic University of America. His book, The Ideal Bishop: Aquinas’s Commentaries on the Pastoral Epistles (CUA Press, 2017) is a contribution to the field of ecclesiology.  His other research interests include the theology and philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas, natural theology, and fundamental theology.
