Her research investigates socially responsible design for social robots in public spaces such as airports, shopping malls and hospitals. Meg is passionate about creating enjoyable user experiences with social robots that also include privacy considerations. With a background in telecommunications, she was inspired to return to study Social Robotics as it is an exciting technology that brings together humans, robots and artificial intelligence in real-world environments, plus it might also inspire her kids to think big!
