Dick joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008, originally as the Information Technology Senior Vice President and business information officer of Health Plan and Hospital Operations.  He later rose to the role of Senior Vice President of Enterprise Shared Services, which includes End User Services, National Facilities Services, and National Pharmacy Operations, immediately prior to rising to the CIO post. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Dick worked in IT roles at multiple financial services organizations, including as a divisional CIO at Capital One, and as a Senior Vice President at JP Morgan Chase where he was responsible for investor service business applications. Dick received his Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree in Business Administration and Management from Texas State University.
