Tracy DeGraaf is a Christian, first and foremost, and next she is an author, comedian, and speaker. She got into comedy later than many, and in fact wasn’t a real goal of hers. A publishing coach helping with her incredible book Laugh Anyway Mom told her she should pursue comedy. So, Tracy has been working hard to build a comedy ministry, a speaking ministry, and maintain a busy home life that saw 5 boys grow up finding new and exciting ways to get taken to the ER. Tracy is hosting a show at the newly renovated Roxy Theater in Lockport, Ill. Life Happens, Laugh Anyway is this Friday, September 20, at 7:00pm. Comedian Tracy DeGraaf's five boys have been to the emergency room a total of 21 times. For years, Tracy was barely able to keep her head above water, holding together a household with five young children. Then, when she turned 40, Tracy looked at a picure of her late mother, who had passed away at 52, and realized she had to get going on her own dream.This is a conversation about joy and hilarity mixed with pain and frustration, laugh-out-loud moments interspersed with two cancer diagnosises.  And ultimately, this episode is about practical tips to find the joy and thankfulness to God in every circumstance. Connect with Tracy via her website, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
