The Soap Co. is a luxury skincare brand that supplies some of the most prestigious eateries and hotels all around the world. Their soap and skincare range is environmentally conscious, organic, home-grown, hand-made - and 80% of it's staff are classed as disabled. In this episode we spoke with the endearingly passionate Camilla Marcus-Dew. Camilla is the Head of Sustainable Growth for CLARITY - The Soap Co. - encouraging businesses and consumers to 'switch their soap for social good', also a Blue Patch Female Business Leader, Variety Catherine Inspirational and EverywomanUK Gaia award winner and PWC Building Public Trust judge.   Camilla founded The Soap Co. before joining the senior leadership for the winder charity for CLARITY – Employment for Blind People, tailoring products to help all consumers and businesses to ‘swap their soap for social good’ and in turn, improving the opportunities for people with disabilities across the UK.  Prior to CLARITY-The Soap Co., Camilla was a manager at Accenture for 5 years focusing on strategic cost reduction across industries and across Europe, lead programmes for Accenture Development Partnerships in South Asia within disability and Ethiopia and completed a voluntary project with VSO in India to accelerate the involvement of women as entrepreneurs in the sugar cane value chain.  Camilla is keen to help replicate equitable, scalable and sustainable business models internationally and has recently begun sharing the good news of The Soap Co. internationally, represented the British Council in Latvia and a keynote speaker at Social Impact Day Noord in The Netherlands this November as well as speaking at events for LV, Coca-Cola EP, freethebirds, General Assembly, forpeople, and various events for International Women's Day.
