Jason Ingwaldson has been an athlete his whole life. Starting with Martial Arts at the age of 5 he progressed fast with his hunger and determination and at 10 he earned a first-degree Black Belt under 9th degree Blackbelt and original character, SCORPIO in the movie Mortal Combat, Chris Casamassa. At 10 years old he began boxing. By age 13 he became a Junior Olympic Champion. At 15, he was a Junior Olympic National champion and at 17, he was one of the youngest ever to be rated #1 at the young age of just 17. Jason topped that year off by winning the Gold Medal at the “International Muhammad Ali Cup” in which he was also awarded “Boxer of Tournament” in which the “Ali Cup” was awarded by Muhammad Ali.  That same year he also earned the grand award “Boxer of the Year” which labeled him pound for pound one of the best in the sport of boxing.  While living in Vegas he had the opportunity to have great sparring sessions with the Legend Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas as well as in Big Bear where Floyd invited him to his first world championship training camp to show Jason what his future was going to look like…. He continued in the following years winning many National and International tournaments but due to injury, his promising career sadly ended. After making a comeback as a pro and going 3-0, his career came to a final stop in his 4th match and his injury ended his career….his outstanding career consisted of over 150 plus wins with few defeats.

Ep 3: The Faith Fighter with Jason Ingwaldson and Mateo Attalla

This week on Tiff Talks Podcast we speak with Jason Ingwaldson, Tiffany and Jason have created such an incredible bond over the years. His story is such a special one and with that at the age of five years old, Jason was enrolled in martial arts but at the age of seven, Jason was hit by a car and placed in a body cast with the doctors saying there would be a little chance of him having any kind of athletic life. After being removed from the body cast Jason was back active in martial arts and by the age of 10, he earned a 1st-degree black belt.  Fast-forward to the 2000 Olympics, Jason started suffering from headaches and after an MRI showed slight bruising around his brain. 2 years later after an MRI revealed that he was cleared to box again. Jason was back in the ring. This time as a pro.  And after going 3-0 with his career preparing to take off he once again felt the headaches return. Keeping it from his coach Jason boxed one last time. The boxing match lasted 1 round. Jason was retested with an MRI showing bruising all around his brain. He was placed on seizure medication while suffered thru 7 years of seizures. Jason is a walking miracle and he devotes his life as a motivational speaker and trainer helping others through his life testimony of living by faith along with the boxing workout he uses that is instilled in his soul which he loves to share with everyone.
