Lucy Beckwith comes from a family with tourism in their blood. She’s a Director, along with her brother Matthew, at City Cruises; the biggest tour boat operator on the River Thames in London. Her parents first set sail into the world of tourism in 1985 when they launched ‘The King’ to allow tourists to see London from the comfort of a boat. In 1996 they set up ‘City Cruises’ which sails more than an astounding 4 million passenger journeys every year and employs over 300 staff, and it also offers the same service in York and Poole.
