Our guest in this episode  is passionate about financial education, personal development, entrepreneurship and economic development in our communities.Growing up on the westside of Louisville, KY, he had experienced poverty, dysfunctionality, and major setbacks.  He went from an at-risk youth to building two successful companies.  He continues to inspire, lead and teach about the importance of hard work, dedication, and overcoming challenges in life. He is founder and CEO of Freedom Financial Group Realty, a boutique real estate investment firm and Freedom Financial Institute to educate people on the importance of financial independence.  In addition, our guest is also a professor, author and success coach. Receiving his B.S. in Business Management at West Chester University, and a Master of Science Degree at Florida International University,  he currently serves on the Community Engagement Committee at West Chester University, connecting the business community with young professionals.  With more than 10 years of banking and finance experience, his life work is to share this valuable information with people of all races, socio-economic status, cultures and beliefs. We dive into Ty's story and how he went from drawing homes as a child to investing in real estate. Ty shares the role that team sports had played for him during his development and he also shares his perspective on important factors that has helped shaped him to becoming who he is today.
