Alexa is a 21-year-old, country recording artist from Texas. As well as pursuing a music career, she is a full-time student, studying entrepreneurship, at Texas A&amp;M University. Alexa is involved in a campus organization, Aggie Sister’s for Christ. Her peers, of 400 young women, selected her to fulfill the role of Worship Chair, for the 2016-2017 school year. Alexa hopes to call Nashville her home, after she graduates.Alexa has been singing and performing since she was 8 years old. Over the past 13 years, she has performed at various venues throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Alexa released her first music video, April 2nd, 2014 and her 1st “EP”, “Born Ready” in September 2014. “Born Ready” debuted on “The Iceman’s”, Top 40 New Country Artist Countdown, on bestcountryradio.com, September 15th, 2014. “Born Ready” remained on the countdown for over a year, breaking a record, for the longest on the chart. It landed a ranking of #3, for the 2015 yearly countdown, earning her an invitation to Nashville, in June 2016, for “The Iceman’s”, New Country Music Artist Fest. Alexa’s music has also been aired on stations such as, Country Blast Radio, Music Road Radio, and Spectrum Radio, located in the UK. One of her highlights for 2016 was having her first live radio interview on “The Josie Show”, April 1st, 2016.Alexa’s plans for 2017 are to promote her newest single, “Gettin' There", film another music video and continue to spread the word about Organ Donor Awareness, utilizing her platform, Taylor’s Gift.
