Jessica is the creator of Alpine Small Business Solutions helping entrepreneurs delegate, grow and prosper through the usage of virtual assistants. While Jessica has been in the virtual assistant realm for over 13 years she inherited entrepreneurial drive from her parents.  Her parents as she calls them were "hippies" who traveled around in a dodge pop up van living a lifestyle that required them to create an income to provide for themselves and their family.   Jessica entered the Virtual Assistant (VA) world after being laid off from a corporate position.  With her severance check in hand, she dove head first into creating her business.  At the time she launched her business in the early 2000's it was still a new concept so it wasn't well received.  She had to be very creative to get in front of people. She did whatever it took to get in front of clients, such as using platforms such as Craigslist and Myspace!VA's truly help entrepreneurs gain back time in their day.  Instead of focusing on performing tasks that they are not proficient in, it is easier and more profitable to hire a VA to perform the work instead.  This frees the person to work on revenue generating tasks that are a far better usage of time.  One of the hurdles that entrepreneurs have to overcome in the earlier stages is the fear of money.  During this stage, because money can be tight, there is the mentality of doing it them self.
