Gabriela Schneider is the Communications Director of the Sunlight Foundation, and is responsible for leading Sunlight's Communications team and external affairs. Gabriela came to Washington, D.C. in the late 1990s determined to work in public policy serving the public interest, but shifted her career to focus in communications so she could help translate policy issues into something more publicly accessible. The Sunlight Foundation is a nonpartisan nonprofit that advocates for open government globally and uses technology to make government more accountable to all.
