In this episode, we chat to Tanya Matveeva, an experienced exploration geologist in many commodities around the world, working in countries such as Russia, Canada, Kazakhstan, Rwanda, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Cameroon and Australia. Tanya is passionate about understanding the inner workings of the mining industry, and interested in disruptive ways of changing mining for the better. Rachael’s primary passion is Blockchain and we discuss its many intricacies, how can it improve the mining industry, and the benefits can be to mining companies. We talk about how the properties of blockchain technology make it applicable to mining, and what processes in mining can be improved through using blockchain technology.
