Programmer Jorgen Tjerno was gracious enough to give us some of his time to interview him and pick his brain on a variety of things.We start by discussing what drew Jorgen into games and what games he used to like a lot when he was growing up. We also discussed how these games sort of mapped the path Jorgen took in his career and what exactly made him want to be a programmer as opposed to another career in the industry.We discuss what exactly a programmer does and what aspects of the job are challenging, but also give some insight into what makes it rewarding. In addition we discuss aspects of Jorgen's background in the industry and illuminate how some of those experiences shaped the career he has now.Then of course we get into how Jorgen came to be working at Undead Labs, some of his thoughts on State of Decay 2 overall, and a bit about how the industry is today.
