Alana Saltz is the founder and editor-in-chief of Blanket Sea Magazine, and a writer, freelance editor, and writing instructor in Seattle, Washington. Much of her work revolves around writing about her personal experiences with chronic and mental illness. She’s a vocal advocate for disability awareness and rights.Alana received her MFA in Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles. Her work has appeared in The Washington Post, The LA Times, The Huffington Post, Words Dance, Moonchild Magazine, Rust+Moth, Occulum, and more.
