Four years ago, James weighed over 400 pounds and wasn’t doing much to make sure his health was on track. After getting a new job with the San Luis Obispo Transportation Authority, James used his new health insurance to explore bariatric surgery.  After undergoing the surgery, James started running, met his girlfriend, and has accomplished a ton, including recently completing his first marathon. James has an interesting story and Pete and Gretchen really dive deep with him.
