Chad O’Donnell is the founder and Director of Capital Elite Agency. Chad has been around college basketball since 1993. He spent over 20 years as an assistant college basketball coach at schools throughout the country including Bryant University, Holy Cross College, the College of Charleston, Robert Morris University, and the University at Albany. During his coaching career, and in the years since, Chad has counseled and advised countless coaches on their coaching journey.O’Donnell attended Springfield College in Massachusetts and was fortunate enough to break into coaching as an undergraduate. He was hired in his senior year of college as an assistant at Worcester State College. Over the next twenty years he moved his way up the coaching ladder to assistant positions at Bryant College, Holy Cross. University of New Hampshire, Robert Morris University, College of Charleston, and finally the University at Albany where he spent 11 years as the Associate Head Coach. At Albany the team won 5 America East Championships and went to 5 NCAA Tournaments. After going to the tournament over three straight seasons- 2013, 14, and 15 Chad chose to leave coaching to spend more time with his wife and three young children. Because of his years in coaching and strong understanding of the business and with the encouragement of coaches who asked for his help Chad began Capital Elite Agency three years ago to help promote, advise, and prepare coaches to advance in their careers.
