I want to thank Tony for getting real with us, and for being open about where he needs to be real with himself, because even if you find that you’re the expert in the room, there is still something you can learn. Coaches and guides are going to be important in our lives, that’s why in 12 step we have sponsors. How many times have you cycled through sponsors because they are saying something that is not quite what you want to be hearing? As an artist I know if you give it away for free it may often have no value to the receiver. It is a valuable question that Tony raises. We also aren’t going to please everyone, and some people we may never forgive us for our past but no matter what we face, we can still recover with love and dignity. Tony is out in the world spreading his work and doing his best. At any moment someone might reject us and if they do so be it, we still have a life to live.  As a Certified Recovery Coach, Anthony Jackson works diligently to help those suffering with any type of Addiction break free. In his published book, Prison Sentence to Purpose Driven, Anthony has boldly laid out his life’s journey with total transparency. Detailing how wrong choices led him into a life filled with darkness; holding nothing but danger, heartache, disappointment and destruction. Having overcome his own personal battle with drug addiction, Anthony understands the viciousness of addiction and the vital need for tools, support and accountability to victoriously defeat such a struggle. Thus, fueling his fire to become a recovery coach. Anthony is driven by the mindset that, we are all given the opportunity to reroute our pathway’s direction to lead us into pure light; filled with God’s forgiveness, peace, joy and lifelong success. Anthony is currently a great asset to society. He is a husband, father of three daughters; with three grandsons and one lone little granddaughter. He was able to re-establish himself in the workforce. Efforts that led him to being a Recovery Coach; as well ownership of his own business as an owner/operator truck driver currently stationed in Indiana.
