Welcome to We Are the Worst!  In this week’s episode, we’ve got a historical death that is filled with poetic justice and we’ll travel to Ukraine to talk about a fairly recent set of murders committed by a pair of monsters.  We also get our very first listener mail!Dreia is up first and she’s going to tell us all about Clement Laird Vallandigham (probably pronounced ‘Vander-blar’) who was a famous lawyer during the Civil War, member of the Copperhead Democrats, and outspoken racist.  Don’t worry, Vallandigham/Vanderblar gets what’s coming to him in the end.After that, Maggie tells the story of the Dnipropetrovsk Maniacs who went on a 20+ killing spree in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in Ukraine between June and July of 2007.
