BJSM’s good friend Fran O’Connor is Director of Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Maryland. He is a former President of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM, @theAMSSM). He also held leadership positions in the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Medical Athletic Association.
