Overcoming Your Past to Make a Better Future with Yasmine Simmons

“I just wanted to help people.” Yasmine Simmons knew at a young age that she wanted to make a difference and be a force for good and has continued to live up to this every day since then. As a Nurse Practitioner, she has an understanding of the importance of whole person care and that we must continue to ask questions, push forward and not give up when it comes to our own and others health and wellness. This passion and perspective has led her to becoming the Executive Director of BigShifts Foundation. Yasmine has her own story of healing and lives by the fact that no days are promised so we must make the most out of every single day and celebrate not only where we are but where we are going.
