To celebrate ‘World Sax Day’ on November 7th, Music Generation Tipperary is hosting a workshop, online, with Richie Buckley, one of Ireland’s most famous saxophonists. He has played with everyone from Van Morrisson to Mary Black, and would be well known for composing the soundtrack to the film ‘The General ‘ too, starring Brendan Gleeson. Dr. Aidan O’Donnell Music Development Officer with Music Generation Tipperary spoke to Fran about the project this morning along with Richie himself.
