Atlantucky Brewery owners & hip hop artists Skinny Deville and Fish Scales / Théâtre du Rêve’s new streaming production, 'Code Noir'

The craft beer scene in Atlanta has exploded in recent years, yet there are few breweries in town that have the distinction of being Black-owned. Nappy Roots members Fish Scales and Skinny DeVille are hoping to shake that up. Earlier this month the duo opened Atlantucky Brewing, a brand new brewery situated in the heart of Castleberry Hill – and very aptly in a building owned by Atlanta icon Herman J. Russell’s family.  Check out our latest Bounce Back episode to hear how they’re hoping to continue the legacy of the historic neighborhood and bring craft beer to hip-hop.
