After their stage-4 cancer experience (as patient and caregiver), this married couple, David Dachinger and Tamara Green, created the Loving Meditations App, a self-care mindfulness/meditation resource that helps those living with cancer to experience more calm and ease. David is a Grammy® nominated composer, fire lieutenant and cancer survivor. Tamara is a psychotherapist, dating &amp; relationship coach, and meditation facilitator, whom Elle Magazine dubs “the soul-centered relationship and meditation expert.” All Loving Meditations programs provide stress-reducing tools for cancer patients, caregivers and survivors in health care facilities and at home. “doing your own business can completely take over your life, it can take over your weekends, your evenings because when you are starting off especially you are just doing everything. So my advice is to make self-care your absolute number one priority, do not let that fall to the wayside at all. So if you have a practice of maybe some kind of body movement like exercise or yoga, whatever don’t stop doing it. Or if it is meditation do not stop doing that. Or maybe it’s socialising and getting together with friends every once in a while. Make it a priority.
