On this episode, Carrie shares with us her perspective on singleness and why the church has often ostracized them. She gives us encouragement, as well as a holistic vision for what the Christian world of relationships should look like. Carrie serves as the Dean of Student Success at Biola University and has worked at the university since 2001. In her current role as Dean, she oversees Academic Advising, Career Development, Online/Graduate Success, Undergraduate Retention, the Rhetoric &amp; Writing Center, and the English Language Program.  Carrie has a B.A. in Business/Economics from Wheaton College, an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Biola University, and a Ph.D. from Azusa Pacific University in Higher Education. Her dissertation explored the experiences of male advocates of women presidents in Christian higher education.  In other words, Carrie has a lot of wisdom and experience for us to learn from.
