In the first of four CrossFit episodes, we have the pleasure of being joined by special guests Robert Crowley &amp; Sonia Fierro. Together they take a look at: The origins of CrossFit Myths and misconceptions in the perception of CrossFit Scaling (progression &amp; regression)  The benefits of CrossFit How CrossFit has become more accessible to a larger audience  About Our Guests: Robert Crowley is a Chiropractor, specialising in treatment of CrossFit and weightlifting athletes. Robert was Clinical Lead of Athlete Services for CrossFit Games Europe/Meridian Regionals 2014-2017. He is a Lecturer at London South Bank University, and also provides specialist courses in treatment of weightlifting injuries for 'Recover Stronger' with Sonia Fierro.  Sonia Fierro is a qualified Osteopath &amp; Sports Therapist. She has worked as part of the medical team of various elite sports - from GB Fencing, to GB Diving and Swimming and was part of the CrossFit Europe/Meridian Athlete Services team. Sonia is a nationally ranked Powerlifting athlete and holds the Italian Deadlift Record for the U57 category. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Illinois in Chicago and then went on to National University of Health Sciences to complete his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Originally from Chicago, IL, Robert practiced in the United States for over 5 years, and has experience working in a multi-disciplinary setting alongside Physical Therapists and Medical Doctors.
