Malvin Kamara is the CCO &amp; founder of Vallum Associates. In a previous life he was a professional footballer. Malvin is the Founding Director of Vallum Associates - a specialist Recruitment Agency and Consultancy to the Energy, Utilities and now Financial Services Markets.I loved recording this episode as Malvin is an ex colleague of mine and close friend. We worked together in our previous Recruitment Agency and I have seen his career grow personally.However, what always baffled me was the shock when Malvin quit his agency career to start his own business at the point where he was just starting to build a name for himself in his sector.We discuss how he has grown Vallum with 2 partners (non recruiters) to 8 staff and found the task of hiring and development the biggest challenge. As always, there was laughter, real stories and another honest reality of the life as a Recruitment Agency owner…
