Alex is another guest who wears many hats in life. By day, he owns and operates a successful personal training studio, Earth Athletics. Having worked in his program personally, I can tell you Alex is second to none when it comes to the combination of enthusiasm, knowledge, and motivation in a trainer.   By night, Alex pours his heart and soul into his music as DelMar the Poet. The expressive lyrics and hip hop rhythms are pulled from life experience, and believe me, his life is a story worth telling. From growing up and helping to raise his siblings, to dealing with his own issues with substance abuse, to becoming sober and launching his own business; Alex has overcome many challenges and transformed himself into someone who can inspire others to transform their physical and mental well being.. And now his latest adventure is as a father to his newborn son, Jamison. Fatherhood has introduced a new perspective for Alex, and this drives him even more to be the best man he can be.  I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation.
