The Football [Soccer] Opera! ft. Scott Stroman

John Taylor’s illustrious four-decade career as a pianist, composer and foremost figure in British jazz came to an untimely end with his tragic death in July 2015. The Big Band concert on 27 November at Milton Court, which was originally due to feature John as guest artist, now celebrates his life with a programme that features his music as well as compositions by musicians closely associated with him. We catch up with director Scott Stroman to find out more.
