She has two bio children and married Dan, who also has two bio children. One of her stepkids is autistic and the other was an adult when they started blending. At the suggestion of her counselor, Kristie started journaling when she was upset. This turned into her using her journaling to write her first devotional “The Blended Family Mom”.  She later wrote her second devotional “Blended Family Moments”.
