Every Tuesday, we meet a New Arrival from another country, another state, or another part of Alaska. The stories air at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesdays during Morning Edition here on KSKA, Alaska Public Media. Host and Producer  Independent producer Vikram Patel makes New Arrivals because he likes talking to people, but especially new people. (No offense, friends and family!) When he isn’t interviewing newcomers to Anchorage, Vikram helps produce local storytelling program Arctic Entries and works his day job at Parks &amp; Rec which, he claims, is exactly like the TV show.
