When I think of fine Italian dining and specialty wines, the name Piero Selvaggio, comes to mind, and we spoke with him recently on our #LittleItalyOfLA Podcast. Piero founded the legendary West LA restaurant, Valentino, and his famous recipes, buffalo mozzarella, truffles, and wine selection became synonymous with fine dining. Her 8 vineyards focus on organic farming and produce elegant Vino Nobile di Montepulciano wines from 100% Sangiovese and two 100-point scoring Vin Santo wines. Restaurateur Piero Selvaggio has run award winning Valentino Ristorante in Santa Monica for over 40 years.
