Jane Bower first came to the Sóller valley as a teenager in the early 1950s.  Since then she has lived in London, Paris and New York, but it’s Sóller that she calls home and Sóller to which she always returns.  These are compelling reminiscences from a woman who has seen this isolated corner of Mallorca transformed from a rural mountain community into a sophisticated travel destination.
