What a treat!  It was the highlight of my year to talk with a true gentleman, scholar, coach, kind soul, Coach Rob Bordley.  I always heard stories and of the local lacrosse legend, and was at times encouraged to hate him.  But I kinda always knew that was weird -- how can you hate love.  That is what Rob Bordley is -- love in an intelligent, empathetic, creative, generous, humorous way.  I learned a lot from our conversation.  Thank you for your time and for being a beacon -- a shining light in the darkness that increasingly seems to be shading our lives.Cheers!

Today I’m talking to Rob Bordley the head coach at Landon School in Bethesda, Md..  Bordley is 5th all-time with 622 career wins and I’ll be honest, if you’re not excited about lacrosse after listening to this podcast, it might be time to look for a different sport. Bordley is almost 70 years old, but I think you’ll agree he sounds like someone 1/2 that age in this conversation. His excitement for the sport is contagious.  Because he has such an impressive resume, we talk about more than just how the team will fare this season (they’re probably going to be pretty good), but we dive deeper into what has helped him be so successful.  What tidbit of information does have to pass along?
