My name is Sheri mcintyre I’m 56 I had an AVM rupture in my cerebellum. This Happened 4 yrs ago.I a had a craniotomy, (Hemmoragic Stroke,TBI,invisible-illness) now mostly physical. My speach has been effected yet understandable! (I sound southern) constant Dizziness feeling that never goes away. My Equilibrium is way off. I wrote a book titled compassionate snob. This was my recovery project i didn't realize this at the time! It gave me a way to be productive! As I cannot work due to my illness. Better After Stroke – Sheri McIntyre

I met my guest, Sheri McIntyre, through the magic of social media. She reached out to me several months ago via Instagram messenger, and my life has not been the same since. Sheri was in the best shape of her life - and (she thought) the best health of her life when the unthinkable happened - a sudden rupture of a brain aneurysm left her helpless on New Years Day, 2016. Helpless, yes. Hopeless, no. Something inside Sheri rose up with strength and fortitude and she was determined to do whatever it takes to get better. She slowly learned how to walk and talk again - and now, not even four years from that day - she has written a book. I hope you will be inspired by Sheri's story. She reminds us all to have hope in the darkest of times, and to always look for the light, and then work hard to keep reaching for it.
